Life has snags from time to time, and though I’m sure there was never a
doubt- we’re not immune to them either.

This is a notice, and I apologize for the last minute notice, that our
Contemplative Eucharist for Wednesday the 16th is cancelled.

Hesychast Prayer and Meditation

We will be exploring, discussing and practicing the ancient Hesychast technique of the Jesus Prayer.

If you’ve never heard of Hesychasm or would like to know more about it or the Jesus Prayer before joining us- as mentioned in the June Newsletter, we were fortunate enough to have the Primate of the Alexandrian Gnostic Church give a talk on this ancient spiritual exercise and its meaning in the context of Gnosticism.
