Conclave 2022 – June 24th-26th

Everyone, whether clergy, laity, or unaffiliated friend is invited to our church’s yearly Conclave. Due to continued travel restrictions, our Conclave will once again be held online, starting June 24th and running through June 26th. The lectures will be available on zoom and those that register will receive links to watch them later at leisure. Please consider participating as many speakers allow for questions and those tend to create a whole new lively debate even after the official lecture has ended.

For more information visit the main johannite.org website and click on the Conclave tab or you may go there directly by clicking this link.

An Amazing Weekend!

The Official Visit of His Excellency, Bishop Scott Rassbach, was a rare treat for the community. His cleverness and insight was a real boost to both the intellectual and spiritual health of the community and our services together were a blessing to everyone involved. We had one baptism, four confirmations, and our Senior Warden, Olivia Riley, was consecrated as an Acolyte, allowing her to assist and serve at the holy altar during Mass. But beyond any advancements that took place “on paper,” there was a general spiritual elevation of the entire community; a gnostic revival, if you will. All of us who were present have been positively impacted by this weekend and without exception, everyone is renewed and restored in their dedication to the Great Work.

Truly, let it be said, “Little is much if God is in it.”
Love, Light, and Gnosis to all.
~Rev. Deacon Joe Revels

Narthex No More! – June 5th, 2021

With the Ordination of Brother Joe Revels to Major Orders, St. John the Baptist Narthex becomes St. John the Baptist Parish! This creates a number of new rights and responsibilities for the leadership as well as members, the most important of which is the ability and the requirement to hold regular Johannite Mass. This change in format will be discussed at our next meeting.
