As those of you enrolled in the Introduction course will know, the course is being drip fed at the moment. Units only become available to you a certain number of weeks after you enrol. This is because I’ve been completing the editing for the first version of the course, so I’m dripping it out a little behind the pace I’m finishing it to give me a buffer.
I don’t think this is ideal. The aim is for the course to be truly self-paced so that if you want to power through it in a weekend or take a whole year to complete it, that’s up to you.
The good news is: I finished editing the lectures about an hour ago. Once I’ve got them all uploaded and set up the course units over the next week or two, I will deactivate all the timing on the course units and you can go as fast as you like.
As of me writing this, Johannite School has about 80 students, which is kind of phenomenal. On a good day, I imagined having up to a dozen people in the first few months to give this a run through. I’m delighted and a little stunned that you’re all here.
We’re already scheming about upgrades to the site, better community functions and the next courses. So stay tuned.
