Rector: The Reverend Deacon Jason Leong Campbell

"Photo

Rev. Deacon Jason Leong Campbell grew up in Burma before moving to the Pacific Northwest to receive a liberal arts education at Reed College. During college, he found and fell in love with the Johannite community in Portland as well as its contemplative practices. Being raised a Buddhist, he finds it really intriguing to discover similarities as well as subtle differences between Buddhist and Gnostic outlooks.

He is currently enrolled as a student at St. Raphael the Archangel Theological Seminary and was ordained as a deacon in 2016.

Bishop: The Most Reverend Scott M. Rassbach

"Monsignor

The Most Rev. Scott Rassbach (Mar Iacomus) was born and raised in the wilds of Wisconsin, among lumberjacks, farmers, hunters and fishermen. His early years taught him the ways of nature and the land. From these earthy beginnings, he developed an abiding interest in the esoteric, religious, and mystic topics of the world. He was ordained a priest in the Apostolic Johannite Church in 2007 and consecrated to the Episcopacy in 2021.

He lived in the Portland metro area and served as the Rector for many years. He has now moved to Virginia leading the Our Lady of the Woods parish in Buffalo Junction, VA. Please see here for more details.

Memory Eternal

Assistant: Acolyte Reverend Ms. Constance Crain

"PhotoRev. Ms. Constance Crain is ordained an Acolyte and was the essential person in creating a beautiful sanctuary and adorning our Holy Table.

She had always been fascinated by the study of religious history and pursuing the esoteric and arcane paths those explorations have led to. She was a long-time member of the Hermetic Society and enjoys visiting the Theosophical Society in Portland where an aunt was a founding member. She found Gnosticism to be a good fit, not only appreciating the intellectual freedom and the beauty of the liturgy but drawn to the high esteem for the Divine Feminine.

She served the community until her passing in 2021.
